Managing directors Marianne Barlian, Markus Rieger, and Alexander Röhrs also see a positive development for the company in the future. Mr. Rieger joined the management team at the beginning of the year and plans to continue driving forward internationalization in the coming years. He adds: “Thanks to our employees, who give their all every day, we will continue to be able to meet the ever-growing demands of our customers in the future.” Mr. Reinhold Barlian founded his first company in his living room on January 17, 1975, and developed it into the global market leader for electrical explosion protection in the years that followed. Marianne Barlian has been managing elke TECHNIK for 25 years now and has continuously developed the company during this time, expanding it into an innovative manufacturer and developer that is recognized in the industry.
Mr. Ulrich Betzold, Vice President of the Ostwürttemberg Chamber of Industry and Commerce, paid tribute to this extraordinary double anniversary. “This is an impressive life's work, which has been rightly honored with the Staufer Medal of the State of Baden-Württemberg and the Federal Cross of Merit.” Mayor Dambacher congratulated the two and said, “Thank you for your commitment to the region,” while also praising the positive cooperation among all employees, which he could formally sense among those present.
